Time stops for these moments; while reality  and responsibilities goes on a brief vacation.

Good things must come to an end...eventually.
Our last stop before the trip back to London was Bruges. Unfortunately we were only in this magnificent city for a few hours, but it was enough to entice me to come back to explore and discover her delicious secrets.

I Amsterdam

Amsterdam, she quite literally throws out the rule book. They merely become loose guidelines. She turns a blind eye. She actively participates. She seeks her own path without question, without judgement, without a care in the world. Everything goes in Amsterdam! She's quite the role model really.

Saints vs Sinners

Known as the "golden city of spires" Prague has architectural splendours that span a thousand years. From Medieval to Baroque to Renaissance styled churches such visual beauty would lead you to believe they were created from a divine source rather than the mere mortal.

However, where there is light there is darkness lingering close by. The night life in Prague oozes mischief and temptation! If you are willing let your desires guide you to Karlovy Lazny - the 5-Storey Night Club. With five levels; five music genres you'll never want to leave. I guess that's the magic of Prague!!

Tears for Humanity

Poland...Krakow & Auschwitz. 

A very sobering visit. I found myself feeling waves of emotion from grief, disbelief, sadness, anger. Yet despite it all a sense of hope still lingers. Can we, as a society, learn from the past? Only time will tell.

BudaPest: did she exceed my expectations? Numerous times! With countless spas and baths available it was time to immerse myself in me time! You know you've spent your money well when your Hungarian masseuse has to resort to gently waking you when time's up. Amazing! I felt like I was on cloud 9. Highly recommend it - Szechenyi Bath & Spas - the oldest and largest thermal baths in Pest. Sometimes all you need is a little self indulgence to recharge.

Luxury. History. Culture - Vienna in three words. 

Marie Antoinette's childhood playground; and what a playground it was. From endless palace gardens to the musical talents of Strauss and Mozart - Vienna was simply breathtaking.

Snow in Summer

Where else do you see snow in summer? 

The Swiss Alps of course! In particularly Lauterbrunnen. Everywhere you look you see absolute beauty. Above the clouds; so close to heaven. A sense of calm so surreal that you can't help pinch yourself to check you're still awake.

There are no words to describe this city! She is everything I expected and more!! The language, the architecture, the food, the history, the lifestyle! Is it strange to feel that you've returned home when you've never been there? Maybe in a past life. Just maybe.
