Wedding No. 3

Country Wedding
Last weekend I went back to my home town of Warwick to attend my friend's wedding. Warwick is an old country town (nearly 200 years old); so picture sandstone heritage listed buildings. The ceremony was held at the St Mary's Catholic Church & reception at historic Glengallan Homestead. Perfect setting for a traditionally classic country wedding. Throw in summer garden frocks, music, dancing, cake and good company I couldn't think of a another beautiful way to celebrate two people in love.

Here are a few photos I took - enjoy!

Going to the Chapel of Love

I love a weekend wedding.
The anticipation and excitement that leads up to it. The preparation and organisation. The event itself.
Overall it's an absolute celebration of love; between friends, lovers & soul mates.
There's only one bad thing about weddings - the party eventually comes to an end.
Here's to the next...

"we were given two hands to hold. two legs to walk. two eyes to see. two ears to listen. but why only one heart? because the other was given to someone else. for us to find."

a few shots I took at my friend Jenny's wedding last weekend:

Outfit Post: The Stepford Wife

In my previous post I told you about my friend's hen's night. Her wedding is in four days!

The theme we chose was "Stepford Wives". Perfect match for high tea with such fine ladies. In my mad rush to find an outfit (two nights before - I really do need to stop leaving things at the last minute) I, no kidding, literally stopped when I saw this beautiful dress from Cue. I think my heart may have skipped a beat. The white/yellow/beige floral print was simply too delicate to say no to. The pleats on the sleeve; the cinched in waist. I was in love. A quick order for it to be hemmed and it was mine. (I'm just realising now that half or maybe 3/4 of my wardrobe is from Cue - obsessed much?) To complete the outfit I added a string of pearls and a pearl/bow head piece from Diva.

I could certainly see myself cleaning the house in this outfit. haha :)

Love Is In The Air

This year I hit 25!!
A milestone! Crack open the bubbly!

Not only have I reached a quarter of a century but it has suddenly dawned on me that wedding season has begun. I recently attended my friend's engagement party, and another dear friend's hens night (her wedding is next week!). Both fabulous events, both frantically figuring out what to wear! I was also over the moon to hear I would be a bridesmaid for both upcoming weddings, yet again! Don't get me wrong...

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE WEDDINGS!
I am literally a kid at a candy store when it comes to weddings and my friends know it!
