Meet Campbell... a guy who's not afraid to follow his dreams, wherever it may take him.
Singer, songwriter, DJ, producer - yet he's only 22! Campbell is crazy talented. I was lucky enough to meet Campbell through mutual friends a few months ago here in London. Downright nice guy; funny as hell. Like ha ha funny. Anyways I was impressed by his raw talent and determination to simply make music and share it with the world. He came all the way from New Zealand to take a chance on what he loves. He's got balls. His music is pure. You loose yourself in the lyrics, in the beat. There's an equal balance of ups, downs {if that makes sense at all}. You just want to get lost in the moment and embrace every emotion that comes from it. {Can you tell I'm a massive fan haha He's gonna cringe when he reads this, he's that humble}
Here's his official music video for his single Nine (released October 12). Watch. Listen. Share it! Ahhh so stoked for you Campbell!
When you move into a new flat all you want to do is make it your own. I am on the hunt for an orchid for my bedroom, but undecided on type, colour and size. There's something whimsical about an orchid. Don't you agree?
This place really does live up to your expectations. I took a friend here who was visiting from Australia. Might I add I hadn't seen him in years (we went to high school together), and all of a sudden, out of nowhere I get a message that he was in town. It's funny where life takes you and how it reunites you with dear friends. His visit was his last stop of his European adventures before returning home to Oz. Anyways, at first he was a little reluctant to go but it ended up being the best and funnest {is that even a word?} day ever for him and me. We were back in high school all over again. Brighton really does bring out the child within you. Miss you Joshy!
Yep, the season has certainly changed. I had to rummage around for my stockings the other day and retrieve my jackets and jumpers from a suitcase hidden under my bed. It's such a depressing time having to say goodbye to heat, sun, & summer dressing. Not alone the tearful wave goodbye to ice cream. Hopefully these holiday snaps of my last trip to Scotland (with Rabbie's Travel) will remind me that winter has a few breathtaking moments. Yep, I think I'm ready. A little excited now.
Today (31st July) marks my one year anniversary living in London. Cheers to the places I've seen and the the people I've met along the way. It has been a very humbling 12 months in which I will cherish forever.

Australia! My glorious countrymen have been awarded the coveted RHS Chelsea Flower Show Best in Show for 2013. After consecutive years successfully winning gold we've finally won the overall prize. Huge congratulations to the team at Trailfinders Australia Garden {presented by Flemings}! You've made us really proud.
Miss home right now...
