Wedding No. 3

Country Wedding
Last weekend I went back to my home town of Warwick to attend my friend's wedding. Warwick is an old country town (nearly 200 years old); so picture sandstone heritage listed buildings. The ceremony was held at the St Mary's Catholic Church & reception at historic Glengallan Homestead. Perfect setting for a traditionally classic country wedding. Throw in summer garden frocks, music, dancing, cake and good company I couldn't think of a another beautiful way to celebrate two people in love.

Here are a few photos I took - enjoy!

St Patrick's Day

All In The Preparation
Tomorrow is one of my favourite special days (after my birthday, Easter, and Christmas - yes in that order). St Patrick's Day! I'm not even a big fan of green! But I do love the Irish and everything about them. Their spirit, their tenacity, their sense of having a good ole merry time! I usually host a St Patrick's Day BBQ but this year a few friends and I are celebrating in a different meaningful way. We will be attending the MND and Me Foundation Gala Dinner. Surprisingly I don't have any gala dinner-esque dresses in green. So off to the shops I went. Unfortunately it was a tad disappointing. Dresses - Nil. But my safety net the LBD (little black dress) would save the day, so change in game plan and ended up with these little pretties. I realise they look bluey-green but it's still in the vibe of green!

Happy St Patrick's Day Y'all

Funny story with this ring, I was in Forever New and browsing their selection of accessories when I came across this ring! if you squint it almost looks like a YSL Arty Ring which I've been coveting for months (check here). But this is a great copy and wait for it....$6.95 -TALK ABOUT BARGAIN!

Moreton Island

Until We Meet Again
A while back I went to Moreton Island with my family for a weekend away from the hustle and bustle of city life. We stayed at the Tangalooma Resort. It is such a beautiful place and surprisingly not far from Brisbane itself. Sadly we weren't able to hand feed the dolphins due to a sudden change of weather but it is definitely still on my to do list.

Here are a few photos I took that weekend:

The Most Astounding Fact

We Are All Connected

Neil DeGrasse Tyson reminds us that life is a beautiful thing!

"We are part of this universe, we are in this universe, but most importantly, the universe is in us."

Summer Loving

Risk Factor: Rain

The beauty of living in Australia means that beach weather can occur all year round. The only risk factor - RAIN! Yesterday was one of those beautiful hot summery days fit for a day trip to the beach (Kings Beach @ Caloundra QLD to be exact). Funny enough the rain storm didn't arrive until our drive back to reality. Perfect timing!!
